To Someone Special,
We are Eve and Chris. Our story began in 2014 when we met in our small town over Memorial Day weekend. We first met in a local pub. Chris had just moved back home and I had plans to go canoeing with friends the next day but did not have a canoeing partner. I felt intrigued by Chris and wanted to know more so I invited him on the trip. We quickly became inseparable! We bonded over our love of animals, travel and adventure, and we’ve shared a deep connection from pretty much the moment we met. We were engaged on a horse drawn carriage ride about 7 months after our first date and were married in the summer of 2015.
It was our greatest wish to start a family to share in our love and the wonderful life that we have built together. Our wish came true when we adopted our son, Ceejay. He has changed our lives in so many ways. We truly love being parents and cannot wait to adopt another child and also watch Ceejay become a big brother! We have learned so much about adoption and realized what matters most is having children in our lives no matter how they come to us. We are so excited to embark on this journey again.
